Aurora Planetarium invites you to the central mall at The Ridings Shopping Centre, Wakefield, WF1 1DS, on Friday 16th February 2024 for an unforgettable experience, there are five presentations throughout the day starting at 10:00am.Our planetarium will show you and explain to you our universe’s wonders in an immersive environment, where you can witness breathtaking celestial phenomena and learn about the latest astronomical discoveries.During this in-person event, you will have the opportunity to interact with a knowledgeable astronomer and ask questions about the universe.Whether you're an astronomy enthusiast or simply curious about the mysteries of the universe, this event is perfect for all ages. Are there refunds available if I purchase a ticket and cannot make it?

I’m afraid not, this is a limited ticket event and consequently no refunds will be made, the only exception is if the event is cancelled because of reasons beyond my control.

What age group does the planetarium cater for?

It is suggested from 6yrs upwards.

Can I bring food and drink into the planetarium?

No food or drink is allowed inside the planetarium dome.

Where do you sit once inside the dome?

A small number of chairs will be available for people with mobility issues, the majority of people will sit on the floor.

Is there disabled access?

Yes.
